Billy and Mark sign-up until end of 2018-19 season

Ferriby’s management duo, Billy Heath and Mark Carroll, have both signed three-and-half year contracts that will  take them through to the end of the 2018-19 season.

Co-owner/co Chairman Eman Forster says,

“We are delighted that Billy and Mark have committed themselves to the Club for the next three-and-a-half years. Their new contracts will allow them and the club to build on the strong foundations that now exist at North Ferriby United.”

The new contract is a reward for the success that Billy and Mark have brought to the Club over the last four years and makes a fitting end to a year which saw The Villagers win the FA Trophy at Wembley.

When they took over in October 2011 Ferriby were two places above the relegation places in the Evostik premier Division. Since then Ferriby have gained promotion and are now an established side in the National League North.

In their first season in charge, Ferriby finished ninth in the Evo-Stik Premier Division and won the Doodson Sports League Cup with a 4-1 win over Rushall Olympic after extra-time.

A year later Ferriby pipped Hednesford to the title on goal difference as part of a treble winning campaign that included the Doodson Sports League Cup for the second successive season and the East Riding Senior Cup.

Their first season in the Football conference North saw them lead the table for much of the season but they eventually had to settle for a play-off place where they lost to Guiseley.

Billy commented,
“We are both delighted to sign the contracts. This is a great club and we are pleased that we will be staying for a number of years. The contracts provide stability for the Club and, obviously, for Mark and myself.

“We can now plan ahead as we look to build on our success over the last four years.”

as we look to build on the recent successes.”
