Ferriby’s FA Youth Cup side play Morecambe at The Eon Visual Media Stadium on Tuesday 3 November. The game kicks oss at 7pm. Admission is £4 (£2 concessions).

The match will be a big test for The Young Villagers against Morecambe’s young professionals.

The Villagers have reached this stage after beating Selby in the Preliminary Round, Liversedge, Brighouse, and Guiseley.in the last qualifying round. All but the Liversedge games were away

Joint manager Richard Bell comments,

"We’ve got a few injury concerns but Mark (Rookyard) and I are hoping these will clear up in time. It’s going to be tough but if we can build on our performances so far and perform well on the night, we hope to give Morecambe a good game. There’s a great spirit within the squad and lads are really looking forward to the match, so no doubt they’ll be up for it and we’ll give it our best shot.

North Ferriby have only made it to the first round proper on one previous occasion when we lost to Crewe Alexandra a few years ago so it would be a huge achievement to go one better with this group.”

It is hoped that there will be agood crowb at THe Eon Visual Stadium to support The Young Villagers on what will be a big night for them.
