Under-18 Greens go down in penalty shoot-out
The Under-18 Greens lost 5-3 in a penalty shoot-out to Hall Road Rangers in the Frank Varey/Dr Lilley ERCFA Final. The game ended 2-2 after 90 minutes and with no further goals in extra-time the game was decided on penalties.
It was an entertaining with all the goals coming in the first-half. Rangers took the lead but Ferriby bounced back to go ahead 2-1 before conceding an equaliser with the last kick of the first-half.
Both sides had good opportunities during the rest of the game but neither side could find the net.
