In a scrappy game, neither side created much in the way of chances so the 0-0 result was to be expected.
Bottesford went closest to scoring. Lewis Exall made a superb fingertip save at full stretch just before half-time. Johnny Saltmer, who played in the second half for Ferriby also produced a very good save to deny the home side.
Bottesford also hit the inside of the post with the ball rebounding to Saltmer.
Ferriby had to wait until the 89th minute to manage an on-target shot. Luke Lofts drew a low diving save from former Ferriby keeper Jordan Douglas.
